With the same thoroughness and deep understanding of female hormones that Lara described in her perimenopause presentation, she explains the mechanisms of ovulation and the health impacts which occur when women’s ovulatory cycles are irregular or not occurring. The health benefits of ovulation originate in the production of estrogen and progesterone, both required for bone, cardiovascular and brain health.
