Being a part of the changing world of weight loss medications
Individuals taking medication for weight loss must have access to evidence-based lifestyle interventions delivered by registered dietitian nutritionists. Beth provides a comprehensive overview for dietitians about the important role to be played in this new and evolving field. Involvement starts from pre-commencement of a GLP-1 inhibitor, to supporting clients through difficulties such as side effects and slow weight loss, and throughout all of this –emphasising one important aspect - behaviour change.
