Fundamentals of nutrition and cancer: Part 2 Presented by Belinda Steer, APD

The practicalities of delivering nutrition care in different cancer settings

Every week the dietitians at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne receive queries from dietitians Australia-wide asking about managing oncology clients. Their two part series on nutrition and cancer are designed in response to the queries we have about delivering nutrition care to our cancer patients.

In this webinar Belinda provides tools, resources, and practical tips to help deliver effective nutrition care in a variety of different cancer care settings including inpatients, day therapies, radiotherapy and specialist/outpatient clinics.

Belinda explains the theory of how to develop models of nutrition care and their pathways for your particular service. Each setting will have their own specific needs depending on for example; the size of the service, the tumour stream, resources available.
