About the Presenter

Caroline Deen is a proud Kamilaroi (Aboriginal) dietitian with a Master of Public Health. She has worked in public health nutrition for over seven years, starting her career in nutrition policy working in Victoria and Fiji. Over the past five years, she has been engaged in governmental and Aboriginal-owned organisations, delivering public health nutrition services within remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities the Northern Territory and most recently in Cape York. Caroline is passionate about achieving healthy equity through strength-based approaches and giving community members a voice on the priorities and solutions to issues that impact them.
