About the Presenter
Dr Kiera Buchanan is registered as both a Clinical Psychologist and a Health Psychologist after completing the dual Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology at the University of Queensland. Dr Buchanan is the founding director of the Brisbane-based Centre for Integrative Health, a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals. Her research has focused on eating behavior, weight management and body image. She has acquired an expertise in helping clients achieve long-term solutions to their weight- and eating-issues through application of her research and experience. Dr Buchanan’s approach acknowledges the important relationship between diet, lifestyle, and psychological factors in achieving eating and weight-management outcomes.
