About the Presenter
Monique Piderit, Registered Dietitian South Africa is an associate dietitian at Nutritional Solutions and PhD candidate at the University of Pretoria.
Monique has worked in the private sector since 2011, equipping her with a wealth of experience in executive nutrition, corporate wellness initiatives, wellness day activations, and nutrition workshops and presentations. Monique has a keen interest in the role of good nutrition to optimize performance and recovery in athletes.
Guided by evidence-based nutrition, Monique believes in an integrate approach to wellness where the key to being healthy is to adopt small yet sustainable, unique changes to your lifestyle. Monique consults to the media and has contributed to many publications, as well as radio and TV. Monique is an executive member of ADSA (Association of Dietetics in South Africa), serving on the communications portfolio, and part of the marketing team for the ICDA (International Confederation of Dietetic Associations) congress to be held in Cape Town in September 2020. Monique is registered with the HPCSA (Health Professionals Council of South Africa).
