About the Presenter
Professor Sarah McNaughton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, nutritional epidemiologist, and Fellow of the Dietitians Association of Australia, supported by an NHMRC Career Development Fellowship based at the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN), Deakin University. She is also Discipline Leader for Dietetics, in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. Her research includes assessing and understanding dietary behaviours, diet quality and dietary patterns and generating evidence to inform strategies that promote health and wellbeing. She has received research funding from ARC, NHMRC, Heart Foundation, Diabetes Australia Research Trust and the World Cancer Research Fund and is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Behavioural Nutrition & Physical Activity.
