About the Presenter
Rebecca McIntosh is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 20 years’ experience across acute, sub-acute and primary healthcare, spanning clinical practice, leadership and service development. She has led multiple state-wide cancer malnutrition initiatives and is a co-author of the Malnutrition Governance Toolkit.
Rebecca is currently a Senior Dietitian at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where she has been closely involved in the state-wide implementation of the CanEAT nutrition care pathway. This work has focused on translating evidence into practical, scalable nutrition care to support people with cancer, their carers and health professionals across a range of settings.
She has also led the implementation of a multidisciplinary, community-based cancer survivorship model of care (Good Life – Cancer Survivorship), now established across Melbourne’s eastern region. Rebecca is a current member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia Nutrition Executive Committee and is passionate about improving access to high-quality, practical nutrition care throughout the cancer journey.
