About the Presenter

Lyn Lloyd is an Advanced Practitioner Renal Dietitian who has worked in nephrology for over 35 years and runs her own private practice. Throughout her career, she has provided leadership and mentoring to dietitians across New Zealand and internationally, helping to advance the profile of renal nutrition. Lyn has been actively involved in the Renal Nutrition Program for dietitians in Adelaide since its inception, where she continues to teach each year.

Her international collaborations include co-investigator roles on several global research projects and guidelines, as well as co-authoring multiple papers in renal nutrition. Lyn has a strong professional interest in kidney stone prevention, contributing to the development of a kidney stone pathway in Auckland and serving on the group that developed the CARI Kidney Stone Guidelines. She remains committed to improving the lives of people with chronic kidney disease and kidney stones with a particular focus on practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies to improve their outcomes
