About the presenter
Sherly Li is an accredited practising dietitian with a passion for research. In 2011 she investigated the practice of nutritional genomics among dietitians in Australia and the United Kingdom, with Monash University and King’s College London. She presented on nutritional genomics at this year’s International Congress of Dietetics. Li has been involved in research in both the clinical and public health nutrition settings and is an affiliate of the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre. She believes that nutritional genomics holds huge possibilities for the dietetics profession and is embarking on a PhD in this area. She aims to develop further expertise in nutritional genomics by working with leaders in this field, based in the United Kingdom.
