About the Presenter
Charlotte Miller is a dietitian and a qualified chef of 16 years. She is the founding director of the Melbourne-based food and nutrition service Food & Joy, helping people to improve their health by developing cooking and food skills, employing mindful techniques into their eating and lifestyle and learning to engage with the foods they are consuming. Charlotte also works closely with food businesses to create and implement new menus, develop recipes and assist in food production.
More recently she opened Kitchen & Pantry, serving healthy takeaway meals that cater for a wide range of dietary conditions. Charlotte strongly advocates the non-diet approach and the business has become a centre where reliable dietary, cooking and food information can be obtained without association with fad diets or judgement around food choices.
Charlotte spent eight years managing kitchens and cooking on private yachts and in homes around Europe, North Africa and the United States and is the founding owner of Little Collins cafe and wine bar in Amsterdam. She has an intensive Ashtanga yoga practice that strongly influences the way she approaches her work and communicates her health messages with clients and colleagues.
Charlotte teaches at South Melbourne Market’s cooking school program and at The Urban Kitchen cooking school as well as groups of dietitians and private clients.
