About the Presenter
Dr Tanya Major is a researcher at the University of Otago (Dunedin, New Zealand). She has a PhD in genetics and has been working on the dietary, environmental, and genetic influences of gout for the past 10 years. Her recent work comparing dietary and genetic contributions to gout risk has caused substantial debate amongst experts in the field of gout research and treatment.
