About the Presenter

Dr. Kiera Buchanan is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Health Psychologist with dual Doctorates of Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology from the University of Queensland. She is the founding director of the Brisbane-based Centre for Integrative Health, a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals. Her research has focused on eating behaviour, weight management and body image. She has acquired expertise in helping clients achieve long-term solutions to their weight and eating issues through application of her research and experience. Dr Buchanan’s approach acknowledges the important relationship between diet, lifestyle and psychological factors in achieving eating and weight-management outcomes.
