About the presenter

Merril Bohn, a Melbourne-based Accredited Practicing Dietitian, has been working in the area of bariatric surgery as part of her clinical dietetic work for more than 25 years. She has extensive experience in the area of gastric bands, sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Merril was the first Allied Health dietitian representative on the Obesity Surgery Society of Australia and NZ (OSSANZ) executive and has been instrumental in getting bariatric dietitians together, establishing both a networking and clinical program at OSSANZ conferences. Merril is a sought-after speaker on bariatric nutrition and an active member of the DAA Obesity Interest group.
