本講演は2015年7月6日に幕内秀夫先生によって行われたものを、豪シドニー在住の管理栄養士、染原風生によって英訳されたものである。

About the Presenters

講演者紹介

Hideo Makuuchi

Mr Makuuchi is a dietitian, author, speaker, founder of Foods and Health Laboratory, and initiator of Real Food for Children and Their Health movement.

Makuuchi began his research in food and longevity when he met Dr Komori, who was at the time researching the aspects of life that lead to the longevity of people in Yuzurihara, Yamanashi, Japan. He has since been applying the findings into the management of chronic diseases and prevention strategies in both clinical and private practice settings for over 30 years. Makuuchi is now actively involved in reformulating the public school lunch programs in Japan and educating doctors and allied health professionals of the importance of sustainable and evidence-based food education for the country.

幕内秀夫(マクウチ ヒデオ)

管理栄養士。東京農業大学栄養学科卒業。

学校給食と子供の健康を考える会代表。

山梨県の長寿村を知って以来、伝統食と民間食療法の研究を行う。

日本列島を歩いての縦断や横断、また四国横断、能登半島一周などを重ねた末に、「フードは風土」を提唱する。

Fumi Someharo

Fumi is an accredited practising dietitian and an experienced ballet trainer. She works in private practice in Sydney's North Shore/Northern Beaches area, alongside her ballet career with Sydney City Ballet School. Fumi was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, experiencing the country's unique food education: "shokuiku". Fumi also has extensive experience in scientific translation, through her work in translating both Japanese and English scientific papers to English and Japanese respectively. 

染原風生(ソメハラ フミ)

管理栄養士(accredited practising dietitianは豪の管理栄養士の称号)。

シドニー大学スポーツ科学科/栄養学科のダブル学科を卒業。

豪シドニーで自身の栄養クリニックを経営する傍ら、バレエ講師としても活躍。論文の和英訳なども手がける。
