About the presenter
Melissa Adamski is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with the Australian biotechnology company MyGene in the area of nutrigenetics. Melissa is currently working in the area of education and training and works closely with MyGene’s science team including geneticists and other healthcare professionals, educating health care professionals in nutrigenetics. She has presented on nutritional genomics, including at the recent International Congress of Dietetics. Melissa previously worked at the Dietitians Association of Australia, in corporate nutrition and in conjunction with the Flinders Medical Centre managing a cardiovascular disease randomised clinical trial. Establishing a successful private practice in Melbourne has allowed Melissa to continue to improve the health of her clients through evidence-based dietetic advice.
