She has since been working as a CF dietitian at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide and has worked on projects including audits of nutritional and vitamin D status, and implementation of nutrition annual reviews. More recently, Natalie has been involved in the update of the NHMRC approved 2017 Nutrition Guidelines for CF in Australia and New Zealand. As part of the authorship group and a project facilitator she has presented, promoted and launched these guidelines at the European and Australasian CF conferences. As the newly elected vice-convenor of the Dietitians Association of Australia CF Special Interest Group, Natalie looks forward to working with CF dietitians to implement these guidelines and progress nutrition work in CF.

Andrea Kench, APD, has worked at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW) as a paediatric dietitian for 8 years. During this time, she has specialised in the area of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) as CHW’s senior CF dietitian. The hospital provides care for over 220 infants, children and adolescents with CF and their families. More recently, Andrea was involved in the revision of the NHMRC approved 2017 Nutrition Guidelines for Cystic Fibrosis in Australia & New Zealand. As part of the authorship group and a project facilitator, Andrea has presented, promoted and launched these guidelines at the 2017 European, Australasian and North American Cystic Fibrosis Conferences.
